Summary

This position will be responsible for the day to day floor support of ITO patterning, screen printing, photo exposing and resist lamination within the Optical Materials business unit. Representative Job duties include: improve process capabilities; develop and maintain process documentation; implement safety, productivity and yield improvements; prototype builds and NPI; designing, installing and commissioning new production units; selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors. Interaction with all functions associated with the factory including quality, product engineering, purchasing and sales.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, mechanical or industrial, and experience in a PCB or Touch sensor industry preferred, along with 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess knowledge, skills and/or abilities in statistical tools, systematic problem solving methods, quality systems, materials manufacturing processes, customer relations and have superior math, computer and communication skills. Willingness to travel internationally is highly desired.

Based in Northfield, this position will have responsibility for achieving sales and profit growth for specific accounts by executing selling, business management and customer satisfaction activities that support the strategic, marketing and product plans of the corporation. Representative Job duties include: develop new business by identifying customer needs and matching them with Sheldahl products and capabilities; resolve customer problems and issues; follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction; ensure communication of account information throughout the corporation as appropriate; prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts; perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree with 15+ year’s business-to-business sales experience in an industrial or a materials related industry, preferably with a technical sales position. Candidates should understand Solution Selling concepts. The successful candidate will have verifiable results in attaining sales goals year in and year out; superior communication skills; project management; customer relations; problem solving skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Time in the field with customers is expected to be 50 percent.
Desired qualifications: Industry knowledge in Adhesives, Coatings and Laminations, Thin Film deposition and a technical degree in Material Science or Chemical Engineering.

Summary

Representative Job duties include: install, maintain and repair production machines and plant facility equipment. Candidate will be able to diagnose, modify, replace and/or repair parts to resolve the problem equipment using hand or power tools and/or electronic meters. Must be able to detect faulty equipment or defective material and report to management or engineering for resolution; comply with all safety regulations; maintain a clean and orderly work area; must have excellent communication skills.

Job Requirements

Job requirements include a high school diploma, 2 year technical degree and 6 years Industrial/Manufacturing experience in a manufacturing production maintenance environment.
Desired qualifications: Familiar with support and repair of Circuitry Wet Process Equipment; Electrical/Electronic trouble shoot and repair; plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatics would be plus.
