Accentia Transparent Optical Coating is a low resistance, vacuum deposited coating of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO).  It combines Sheldahl's world class expertise in web handling, vacuum metalization and material processing with a wide range of conductives, film choices and width availability's.  It offers a complete range of coatings from high resistance coatings on polyimide or FEP film for static dissipative uses, to lower resistances for flat panel displays, touch screens, EMI Shielding, and EL Displays.

Accentia ITO is available in both standard (60, 100, and 250 ohms per square) and custom resistant ranges.  The standard base films are 5 and 7 mil (125 and 175 micron) polyester (custom films also available). Other product choices include:

Films: PET, PES, PC, PEN, Aclar®
Thin Films: Copper, Gold, Aluminum, SIOx, Silver, Screen Conductive Silver Ink
Hard Coating: Antiglare and Clear Hard Coat

Sheldahl's Accentia is the only product of its kind that offers "converging technologies."  When you design with Accentia ITO you get value-added capabilities such as: patterning (laser and chemical wet etch), conductive silver ink, coatings and laminations, laser inspection, electrical testing and other metalized materials.   Accentia transparent coating allows you to leverage all of these technologies thus reaching the industries widest range of product capability.
